Yilun Liu is a London-based multidisciplinary artist and interactive designer working across installation, performance, moving image and creative technology. With a background in architecture, spatial design and performance, her practice explores relationships between the body, identity, memory, power and the environments through which experience is formed.
Drawing on embodied cognition, Liu approaches the body as an active system that perceives, responds to and reshapes its surroundings. Her work often blurs boundaries between the individual and the environment, physical and digital space, and lived experience and technologically mediated reality.
Across her practice, Liu creates immersive, multi-sensory experiences that invite audiences to reconsider how identity, perception and memory are shaped within physical and digital environments.
