Zhizhong Cui

Cui Zhizhong is a contemporary artist who graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 1988.He holds the positions of Honorary President of Yellow River Estuary Oil Painting and Sculpture Research Institute, Vice President of Chinese Imagery Oil Painting Research Institute, Vice President of Northern Oil Painting Academy, Distinguished Expert of Southwest Minzu University, Guest Professor of ASEAN College of the Arts and Vice President of Sichuan Modern New Ink Painting Academy, and he was honored with the title of Best Overseas Cultural and Art Envoy by Sino-German Art Exchange Center in Munich, Germany.

His major exhibitions include the National Military Art Exhibition of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, the China-Yugoslavia Cultural Exchange Exhibition held in Yugoslavia, the 6th National Fine Arts Exhibition, the First National Youth Printmaking Exhibition of China, the Chinese Masters Oil Painting Exhibition in Taiwan of China, the International Print Biennale in Poland, China Oil Painting Biennale, an art exhibition staged in Bavaria, Germany, the 2nd Classics and Demeanor – Invitation Exhibition of Notable Contemporary Artists, the 2014 Invitational Exhibition of Contemporary Chinese Art, the 8th AAC Art · Ecology · Observation Touring Exhibition, his solo exhibition Time at the Crater, the 2nd Academia Guides the Market – Invitation Exhibition of Academically Valuable Contemporary Artists, as well as the two-person exhibition When Oil Meets Water.
