Her solo exhibition Barbaric Order presents her complete creative evolution through mixed-media works on canvas and paper. Blurring the boundary between figuration and abstraction with botanical core imagery, layered color washes and tangled lines, the works reveal inherent tensions between natural proliferation and artificial regulation, reflecting meditations on life, nature and temporal change.

Despite her non-art academic background, Song regards painting as a medium for emotional recording and self-dialogue.
