Yilun Liu is a London-based multidisciplinary artist and interactive designer whose practice spans installation, performance, moving image and creative technology. With a background in architecture, spatial design and performance, she explores the relationships between the body, identity, memory, power and the environments in which human experience takes shape. Drawing on embodied cognition, Liu sees the body not as a passive subject, but as an active system that perceives, responds to and reshapes its surroundings. Through immersive and multi-sensory experiences, her work blurs the boundaries between the individual and the environment, physical and digital space, and lived experience and technologically mediated reality.
